Josh started wrestling in the fall of 2004 and found out that he not only had a knack for wrestling, but he was a champion! As a novice 110# in 2004-05 season, a 110# School Boy in 2005-06, and in 2006-07 first string 112# at Thompson Middle School and later on in the season a 110# School Boy for AYWA. He has won numerous awards and here are a few highlights:

• 2006-2007 TMS record #112 - 20 wins and 4 losses
• At 2006-07 Jeff Co Wrestling Championships 114#, came in 3rd place winning 5 out of 6 matches
• At the 2005 State Tournament, Josh placed 4th in 110# Novice class
• Was honored to receive the very first AYWA Wrestler of the Year Award for 2005-06 Season
• At the 2006 State Tournament, Josh placed 2nd in 110# School Boy class
• He came in 2nd place at the Team Alabama Qualifier and participated in the Dixie Duals as a Team Alabama Alternate

Off-season in fall, Josh plays football for Thompson Middle School. He really enjoys beating on defensive linemen, believing they are chewy and best dipped in ketchup.

Off-season in spring (and many fall seasons too), Josh plays soccer. Since the age of 5, Josh has loved dribbling the ball downfield feinting defenders to shoot and score. In the past five seasons, he has been racking up experience as a phenomenal goalie. During his spring 2005 season, he was the high scorer with just under 20 goals.

Josh has one sister and two younger brothers - one of which is Wild Thang. He is an honor student at Thompson Middle School.
