D-Lo began wrestling in the fall of 2003 and set the mat on fire. This fall D-Lo has decided to sacrifice playing football and focus solely on his wrestling career. He will be wrestling year around now and is looking forward to being a part of the first Thompson Middle School Wrestling team.

2003-2004 Season:

• 29 pins
• 3rd in USA State tournament
• 2nd in SYWO championship

2004-2005 Season:

• 2004 AYWA sit up champion with 1000 consecutive sit ups
• 35 pins
• SYWO 80 pound champion
• 3rd in USA State tournament
• Dalton was chosen to represent Team Bama at 85 lbs in the AAU National Elementary Duals. Dalton won 4 matches in the National tournament 3 of which were pins.

Dalton is the youngest of 5 children. He has 3 brothers, JT, Colton and Jacob and 1 sister, Caitlin. His oldest brother JT was a wrestler at Shades Valley High School and now attends Jefferson State Community College. Colton is a drummer in the Thompson High School Marching Southern Sounds. Jacob is a wrestler at Vestavia High School and Caitlin attends Auburn University.

Dalton recently became the proud owner of a Tri-Merle Border Collie that he named after his favorite wrestler, Rulon (Gardner). Rulon is currently training to compete in obedience and agility and may one day be a champion just like his namesake.
