It shall be the mission of Alabaster Youth Wrestling Association to teach the art of wrestling in both national and international styles while mentoring the youth under our tutelage. Our mission exists in the knowledge that we will encourage and promote personal growth spiritually, physically, and emotionally through positive reinforcement of activities, which constantly challenge the spirit, body, and mind.

The sport of wrestling creates a unique platform for athletes to experience the personal challenges associated with one on one competition. The wrestlers encounter and grapple with those time-tested traits that form the character of a man. We believe it is essential to teach these principles as the foundation of success in the arena of competition thereby empowering our young wrestlers for the rest of their lives.
