Bantam Age Group - Born 2000-2001
Weights: 40, 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 75+ (15 lbs. maximum difference)

Midget Age Group - Born 1998-1999
Weights: 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 87, 95, 103, 112, 120, 120+ (20 lbs.max difference)

Novice Age Group - Born 1996-1997
Weights: 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 112, 120, 130, 140, 140+ (25 lbs. maximum difference)

School Boy & Middle School (7th & 8th grades) - Born 1993-1995
Weights: 70, 77, 84, 91, 98, 105, 112, 120, 128, 136, 144, 152, 160, 175, 190, 210, 235

Tournament Information

• The tournament will be run using Track Wrestling software. Wrestlers must be registered with Track Wrestling before they can participate in our tournament.
• Seeding will not be used. We will use the 'wrestle-back' format to determine the true second place.
• School Boy has been expanded to include Middle School (7th and 8th grade) wrestlers.
• Alabama USA standards will be used for weight classes and age divisions.
• Concession stand will be available.
• We plan to use 6 mats in two gyms for the tournament.
• Hospitality room will be available for coaches and officials only. This will be strictly enforced!
• RAFFLE! We will be holding another raffle this year during the tournament, asking $1 per ticket. You don't have to be present to win. Raffle items include:

  • Screw Guns
  • Fishing Rods and Reels
  • Gym Memberships
  • Gift Baskets
  • Two Child's Inflatable Motorized Sea-Doos

• What else? TSS Photography will be on hand to make wall-sized pictures of your mighty wrestlers (or your favorite coach, referee, etc.). These photo/posters are similar to the "Fathead" posters you see of the pros on TV. These are life-sized, die-cut, adhesived backed - but they won't peel your paint so you can move them around. How cool is that?

From South of Shelby County to Thompson High School

• Merge onto I-65 NORTH.
• Take the US-31 exit- EXIT 238- toward ALABASTER. Go 0.2 miles
• Turn LEFT onto US-31 N/AL-3 N/MONTGOMERY HWY. Continue to follow US-31 N/AL-3 N. Go 0.7 miles
• Turn LEFT onto AL-119/MONTEVALLO RD and cross over large RR tracks. Go 1.9 miles.
• Go about 1.5 miles and look for Thompson Intermediate School on the RIGHT.
• At the traffic light beside Thompson Intermediate School, turn RIGHT onto CR-264/Thompson Road.
• Go to first traffic light and turn LEFT onto Warrior Drive.
• Thompson High School will be on your RIGHT.

From North of Shelby County to Thompson High School

• Merge onto I-65 SOUTH toward MONTGOMERY.
• Merge onto US-31 N/AL-3 N via EXIT 238 toward SAGINAW/ALABASTER (right turn). Go 0.8 miles.
• Turn LEFT onto US-31 N/AL-3 N/MONTGOMERY HWY. Continue to follow US-31 N/AL-3 N. Go 0.7 miles
• Turn LEFT onto AL-119/MONTEVALLO RD and cross over large RR tracks. Go 1.9 miles.
