Get ready for something really spectacular and fun!

Our Warrior Wrestling Complex is hosting an exciting wrestling camp with Olympic Gold Medalist Doug Blubaugh. To see a picture of the gold medal he won, click HERE.

This camp takes place at the Warrior Wrestling Complex in Alabaster, on Sunday, December 9th, from 2:00 to 4:00pm.

Cost is $15.00 per wrestler and participation is optional but highly encouraged!

Rome, Italy 1960

Doug is a 1960 Olympic gold medalist with over 400 wins and only 17 losses in his competitive career! He was also awarded the Outstanding Wrestler of the World, National Champion, AAU Champion, High School State Champion, USA Wrestling Hall of Fame, and has over 50 Years Wrestling Experience under his belt.

The summer 1960 Olympics were hosted in Rome, Italy and were called The Games of the XVII Olympiad. Doug was presented Olympic Gold in the freestyle welterweight division on the floor of the ancient Roman Coliseum. We can only imagine the thrill Doug must have felt standing on the same spot where many other Olympic Wrestling Champions stood!

Doug has plenty to say and show about being an Olympic Champion, so grab your wrestling shoes, comfortable shirts and gym shorts/pants, filled water bottle, notepad and pencil (optionally), and $15 and we'll see y'all Sunday at 2pm!
